87: We drove all night

Posted by michaeljk on September 2, 2007

Cherry Ledojo, the man in the windmill and a late night dash to Holland – this is exciting.

Although I didn’t get any dinner and I don’t think those wiener’s and Pelvus sauce agree with me.

85: Taste test

A celebrity sibling, well at least in Germany. I still can’t work out if that’s a wink or a tick.

To those l leave behind

Dawn and Ian christen their can Snowy

I can honestly say, if I woke up dead tomorrow, I’d feel nothing. No fear, no regrets. My main concern is how those I leave behind will cope. I think the best thing for them would be to keep busy and throw themselves into organizing a fitting tribute. Details of which can be found on my kitchen corkboard.

Love & light,

Pet Sematary by Stephen King

I used to wish the dead could come back to life, even despite all the evidence saying that whenever they do, it goes wrong: vampires, ghouls, ghosts, allips, liches, Pet Sematary, etc.

Now I realise that people don’t ever die as long as there is someone who really remembers them.

We’re all immortal for, say, two or three generations.

Happy Talk

Dawn’s radio interview

The art of conversation is dead. I don’t mean to shock but I deal in truths. The days of “morning” to passer by are long gone, replaced by awkward, silent muggings on public transport. We are fast descending into a world of mime. One lone beacon against this barren barrage of silence (apart from me) is Ann Bateson. She has the kind of heart & warmth largely lost since the fifties.

Love & Light,

Dawn x
